In this Art Adventure Retreat:
We will… spend four days immersed in nature, exploration, inspiration, food, wine, friendship, and art.
We will… have our own beautiful cabin called “Pinch Me”, located right in the middle of vibrant fall foliage colors.
The retreat theme?… Metamorphosis – change and growth.

* Welcome Cocktail Party! Includes wine, cheeses, yummy noshes and nibbles.
*Meals catered by Florida’s Marcia Jordon – known for her attention to detail.
*Gem Mining! Dredging and excavating with our own bucketful of dirt at the Bon Ami Mine. Making jewelry from the gems we find.
*A Hike up to Hickory Nut Falls. A beautiful hike to the base of the falls, and exploring Chimney Rock with it’s gorgeous views. Photo shoot with Jeanee.
*3 super fun Art Workshops – including one jewelry making and two surprise Art Workshops. You will take home 3 beautiful pieces of art that you create yourself.
* Featured Guest Artist – Benjamin T. Warner, an award winning acoustic guitarist, emcee, and DJ. He will perform live for us at our cabin by the fire, with beverages in hand. Our own show!
* Each night we will have a special Fireside Circle. Inspirational messages, stories and lessons will be given, along with handcrafted gifts, tying into our theme “Metamorphosis ~ Change and Growth”.
*Treasure Box – you will receive a beautifully handcrafted artisan treasure box. This vessel will hold the daily gifts/messages inside.
*Custom designed Untethered flannel shirts. Perfect for wearing at our mountain get-away.
*Girls Night Out! A road trip together into Asheville. We will explore the Art’s District and more, a delicious dinner out, unlimited fun and frolics.

Director
Jeanee was raised in Alaska, surrounded by beauty. She received an art scholarship and went to college in Hawaii and Israel/Egypt, achieving a degree in Travel and Tourism. She has traveled the world, been the Hostess on cruise ships, a Tour Director through the Canadian Rockies, an award winning photographer, named Woman Artist of the Year- Brevard County Commission, has taught art workshops and runs her own photography business. Jeanee’s love of life is contagious. She is combining her passions; art, adventure and travel, in her new endeavor Untethered – Women’s Adventure Art Retreats.

Benjamin is dedicated to creating some of the most treasured memories through music celebrating life and love. He is an award-winning DJ, emcee, and musician. We are lucky to have him come to our cabin and do a special performance just for us.

Price: Includes taxes
$1500 Your Own Room – in “Pinch Me” Cabin 4200 Sq. Ft.
Deposit of $350 will assure your spot.
Includes all except – Round-trip airfare, car rental, and one dinner out.
What if I need to cancel my Registration? Any cancellations of the retreat up until Sept 1, 2019 will result in a return of your payment less a $350 cancellation fee. For cancellations occurring after Sept 1, 2019 we will not be offering any refunds.
How does the payment plan work? Submitting your deposit serves as your agreement to attend the retreat and payment in full must be received by Sept 1, 2019. If your full fee is not received by September 1, 2019, you agree that your deposit will be retained and you will lose your place. Clicking on the registration form will take you directly to Paypal’s secure payment site, where you can make your deposit. Once you’ve paid in full you will receive your Personal Retreat Packet.
Terms and conditions: You agree to assume all risk of personal harm or injury relating to or resulting from your participation in all workshops and activities associated with Untethered Women’s Art Retreat and hold Jeanee James Photography and it’s instructors harmless as to the liability for any such harm or injury.

Accommodations: 4 nights stay in the rustic cabin called Pinch Me. A 4200 sq. ft. log home, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, gourmet kitchen, hot tub, fireplace, wrap porch surrounded by fall colors.
Check-in: 4pm Oct. 30, 2019 – check-out: 10am Nov. 3, 2019
Food: All meals are included with the exception of one dinner out. Delicious gourmet healthy meals prepared by Marcia. Including unlimited gourmet coffee and teas, and a plethora of treats and yummy morsels served throughout the days.
Art Supplies: All art supplies are included. You just need to bring an outfit to get messy in.
Wine Reception Party- A welcome reception on the first day with nibbles and noshes.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED:
Air transportation: You will need to purchase your own round-trip airfare to Asheville, North Carolina. Asheville is about a one hour drive from our cabin.
Car Rental: Car rental at Asheville Airport, North Carolina The drive from the airport to our cabin is about 1 hour.

Itinerary – What’s in Store?
Hickory Nut Falls Hike: For the 2 mile round trip hike to Hickory Nut Falls, bring comfortable walking shoes, a travel mug with sealed lid for water, coffee or hot chocolate, a small backpack big enough to hold a picnic lunch.
Featured Guest Artist: Acoustic Guitarist to perform live for us. You will spend four days immersed in nature, exploration, inspiration, food, wine, friendship and art.
Gem Mining: We will drive to Emerald Village, have a tour through the museum and then excavate and dredge our own bucket full of dirt from the mine. The gems we excavate will be used in our jewelry making.
3 super Fun Art Workshops: Including jewelry making and two surprise Art Workshops! You will take home 3 beautiful pieces of art that you created yourself.
Girls Night OUT! On the last night, we will have a GNO at a nice restaurant. A time to reflect, with chatting, laughing, eating and drinking.
Warm Fuzzy Daily Goodness: Each day we will have a fireside circle, a time for inspirational messages on personal growth and joy. treasures will be given, special hand made gifts of love and encouragement, along with unique lessons and stories.

When do I need to arrive? Check in to our Pinch Me cabin is 4pm on Oct. 30th. It’s a one hour drive from the Asheville, NC. Airport.

Can I secure my place with a deposit and pay the rest later? Yes! The initial deposit is $350. You will then secure your spot and be able to pay in full later. Payment in full by February 1, 2018
What airport should I fly into? Asheville Airport, North Carolina. Arriving Oct. 30th, 2019.
Where is the location of Pinch Me cabin? It’s in the mountain resort of Rumbling Bald. Lake Lure. North Carolina. About a 1 hour drive from the Asheville Airport.
How do I get to Pinch Me cabin? A Personal Retreat Packet will be mailed to you with all of the fine tuning and details once you have paid for the retreat.
Room accommodations at Pinch Me cabin, where will I stay? The cabin has 4 beautiful bedrooms. You will each have your own room, with the exception of 2 sharing one room, by previous request.
What will the temperature be? In late October/early November it can be anywhere between 35-60 degrees. The mountains will decide!
What should I wear? Check out the weather forecast before you fly out. You might need a jacket, or maybe a hoodie. Dress casual and comfortable. We will be going on one hike, so supportive shoes would be nice to have Bring layers for the mornings and evenings. Bring some clothes that you don’t mind getting messy while we are creating. Also, on the last night we will have a Girls Night Out. So, something a little dressy. But still stay warm!
Will there be shopping? There will be some time to explore in the little town ( one street) below Chimney Rock. After our hike and exploring the sights above, we will go into the little strip of tourist shops and have a bit of time for shopping.
What meals are included? All meals are included with the exception of one meal out.
What kind of food will be served: Marcia will be catering the retreat and will leave no detail unnoticed. Every meal will be prepared fresh and special recipes will be used.
What are meal options for special dietary needs? Let us know and we will try to accommodate your needs.
Can I arrive early and stay late to the Retreat? Pinch Me cabin is booked before us and after us, but if you wanted to stay somewhere else after the retreat is complete, that’s totally up to you and you would make those arrangements.
