Charlene literally glowed with love on her wedding day.

Karl called me a couple hours before the wedding and told me he had a surprise for Charlene, when it was time to place the ring on her finger, he had replaced her original ring with an even bigger, more beautiful diamond ring. Her reaction was priceless!

First listening to his heartfelt vows…
Him placing the new ring on her finger…Her being touched beyond words…Two with one heart…Mission accomplished Karl! When asked what they love about each other, Rebecca answered ” I love most everything about Mike. We have the same “weirdness”. We get and appreciate the weird quirks in each other, we GET each other.” Mike answered “When you know, you know.”

Their wedding took place in the beautiful city of St. Augustine. It was an outdoor wedding in the  Tuscan feel Llambias House courtyard. Aged stone, weathered wood, tropical lush foliage, tangled vines. Romance was thick in the air.

It was a perfect day for a wedding. Sunny, breezy and love flowing…

Her dress was stunning. Fitting her like a glove. A curve loving silhouette with a flowing train.

The first look at his Bride.   Breathless.    ” … to me, love is the strongest feeling with the softest gentlest touch…

…”we both knew. Everything about it felt right and “meant to be”. We call each other our “puzzle piece” because we seamlessy fit together…”

They met 9 years ago as Freshmen at FSU. Friendship grew into love.

“It became really clear, really quickly that we were a perfect match.”

Trevor asked Diana’s father for her hand…                      ”…he’s everything I ever wanted and so much more…”

They were married in the quaint vintage Derby Street Chapel, balmy breezes, rafia fans and love overflowing.

Diana has movie star looks and is an accomplished cellist.

Her dress was beautiful silk, fitting her perfectly. A modern, chic simplicity.

She glowed as she walked down the isle.

The first look at his future wife. Everyone felt  his love for her. “I knew within five minutes that she was something special.”

The beginning of a new life.

The reception was held at the historic Porcher House in Cocoa Village.

The bridesmaids wore cream colored silk dresses, the groomsmen  wore casual khakis and blue cotton shirts.

“When you’ve found the perfect fit for your missing puzzle piece, you can’t let that go.”

They went to dinner with mutual friends who were married, that’s how it all began…

“He was easy to fall in love with.”

“It didn’t take long to fall for her, it just happened.”

“He’s the sweetest guy ever, everyone loves him.”

“She was pretty, independent and strong, I liked that.”

“I just knew.”

Putting the sun away till next summer.

Hi everyone. Finally getting around to a new blog!!! Just a bit of procrastination, but here it is.

An awesome senior, some adorable babies, a beautiful model and some unique vampire/graveyard shots!

I hope you all had a wonderful summer. I sure did!!

These next few pictures are of an incredible senior in Washington state, Abby Bos. We had so much fun doing this shoot. We shuffled all over to find the coolest spots for unique images. The picture of her holding the sun is one of my favorites.

Graveyard shoot

Precision Contemporary Dance Company-This shoot was taken for the Vampire Ball that the company is hosting in October. We had so much fun shooting in a real graveyard at night.Another shot in the graveyard. These girls were amazing to work with. A stunning vampire!!

Scott and Sandi Stuart -Happy Anniversary! 5 Years.

They look like SUPER HEROS! These are some images from their recent  studio/ beach shoot.

Here is a little  info about this amazing and inspirational couple…

Scott is a  soccer coach and personal trainer. He has led MIHS to 3 undefeated years  since he’s been with them. They are lucky to have him.

Sandy is an ER Doctor. You know how we make excuses to not exercise? We are too busy…too tired… just can’t fit it in the schedule…. well, Sandi is the perfect example that it CAN be done.

She just recently won 1st place in the Tall Class-Fitness and OVERALL FITNESS at the NPC USA Championships in S. Carolina. She now qualifies as PRO STATUS in IFBB. She made the BIG TIME along with National Sponsers and ALL.

Way to go Sandi! You go girl!!

5 years and they’ve still got “IT”.

She still has “IT”. Dang. I looked down at my own tummy, laying over my jeans… stretched out from spawning twins… sitting there looking pitiful and tired. I tell myself “it’s just baby fat…” (yah right! your girls are 12 years old!!) ok, so maybe I’ve enjoyed a meal or two… maybe someday I can be tight and hard again. I believe in miracles. Sandi, you inspire me ( and depress me just a tad…)   j.

Speaking of Inspiration!

This is Robyn DeKeyser. Dancer extraordinaire!!!

She is stunning to watch. We did a calendar for  the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation last year. Here are a few images that didn’t make it in and a couple that did.

I love this image. Dance is what drives Robyn, it is her life, her love, her passion. When she has her ballet shoes on, she is in another world. It’s magical to watch.

We shot in several different locations for the 08 calendar. This was at sunset on the rocks. Watching her dance is like watching poetry in motion. It’s breathtaking.

This was an image that we wanted to put our own spin on. People have a hard time guessing how it was shot.

I could tell you, but I’d have to kill you….

Robyn is also a SUPER HERO. She defies gravity and can balance on the tip of her toes. THAT is SUPER HERO stuff.

Family Reunion!

I am going to my family reunion this summer. It’s always colorful and lively. It’s really not complete until we have one good wrestling match, fight or  blow up with my brothers ( I have 4, count them, 4 brothers!).

I adore my family beyond words.  We are loud, opinionated, passionate, loving and funny.  We scare people, maybe scare is too harsh, we offend people. Maybe all families are like ours.

Anyhoo, I designed this family t-shirt for all of us to wear at the reunion.

 To all of you “DysFUNctional” families out there… cherish the times you have together, be patient and forgiving and love the ones that were chosen for you.

Graduating Seniors , Pregnant Moms, and  Birthday Babies!!

This is an EXCITING  time!

All across the nation seniors are graduating and heading off to new adventures. ( My own twin daughters graduated from 6th grade, reminding me how fast time flies and to make the most of our time together.)

Families are growing, expecting new arrivals!

And babies are having birthdays. The process of life. It keeps ticking and moving ahead with or without us!
